Baroque Chateau in Chlumec nad Cidlinou

The Karlova Koruna Chateau is one of the most important Baroque buildings in the Czech Republic. It stands on a hilltop in the town of Chlumec nad Cidlinou in the Hradec Králové Region. Count František Ferdinand Kinský, the highest chancellor and highest hunter of the Bohemian Kingdom, had this chateau built as his summer residence in the 18th century. The plans for its construction were drawn up by one of the most important Czech Baroque builders of Italian origin, Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel, and the construction was then led by the famous Baroque architect František Maxmilián Kaňka.

The castle premises include a riding hall, a stable and a coach house, which now serve as multifunctional spaces for social events and exhibitions. The riding hall area was renovated in 2020-2022. The castle also includes a large English garden-style park and a renovated orangery.

Marble Hall

The round Marble Hall is ideal for your wedding ceremony and reception. It can accommodate up to 300 people, making it ready for larger weddings. You will find it on the first floor of the Karlova Koruna Castle. You will have the whole castle to yourself on your wedding day. The Marble Hall costs 50,000 CZK to rent.

Orangerie

Located in the castle park,the Orangery is the perfect place for a small intimate wedding of 25 to 30 guests. The unusual wedding setting will add a unique atmosphere to your wedding day. This space is priced at 30,000 CZK.
